Diosas Series- Part 2

Diosas means Goddesses in Spanish.

This is the second part of the Diosas series. As a raised Catholic, I have always been fascinated by the saint statues in churches and cathedrals. I try to apply this aspect and combine it with nature to represent women empowerment and inner goddesses. The goddess in this piece comes out as a form of a waterfall.

Materials

Hand drawn using UniPin fineliners and coloured markers on cartridge paper. All final images edited and coloured on Adobe Photoshop.

Digital Prints

Printed on high- quality cotton canvas and sustainably sourced and recycled, 350gsm heavy weight matt paper.
